12 mozzarella cheese sticks
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon milk
1 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Salt to taste
Oil for frying


Freeze the mozzarella sticks for at least 2 hours or until they are solid.

Place flour in a shallow dish. Beat the eggs and milk together in another dish. In a third dish, mix breadcrumbs with garlic powder, paprika, and a pinch of salt.

Heat oil in a deep fryer or large saucepan to 365ยฐF (185ยฐC).

Dip each frozen mozzarella stick into the flour, then the egg mixture, and then roll in the breadcrumb mixture. Repeat the egg and breadcrumb coatings for a double layer if you prefer extra crunch.

Carefully place a few breaded mozzarella sticks in the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 30 seconds to 1 minute.

Remove the sticks from the oil and drain on a plate lined with paper towels.

Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
