Garlic Lemon Chicken Bites

Written by admin

1 lb (450g) chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 lemon, zest and juice
1 tablespoon soy sauce (optional for added flavor)
1 teaspoon honey or sugar (optional for a hint of sweetness)
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Red chili flakes (optional for heat)

Season the Chicken: Begin by seasoning the chicken bites with salt and pepper. Make sure they are well coated.

Cook the Chicken: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the chicken pieces. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Prepare the Sauce: In the same skillet, add a bit more olive oil if necessary, and sautรฉ the minced garlic until it’s fragrant but not browned, about 1 minute. Then add the lemon zest, lemon juice, soy sauce, and honey. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.

Combine Chicken and Sauce: Return the chicken to the skillet and toss to coat all the pieces evenly with the sauce. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle the cooked chicken bites with chopped fresh parsley and red chili flakes (if using) for extra flavor and a bit of heat. Serve immediately.

Enjoy your Lemon Garlic Chicken Bites as a main dish with a side of vegetables, over rice, or as a delicious appetizer.
