Snickers Cheesecake

Written by admin

Just when I thought cheesecake couldn’t get better, I added Snickers into the mix! 😍🍰

Ingredients

For the Crust:

1 and 1/2 cups crushed Snickers bars (freeze before crushing to make it easier)
1 cup graham cracker crumbs (to add stability)
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

For the Cheesecake Layer:

24 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup smooth peanut butter (to bring in the Snickers peanut flavor)

For the Chocolate and Caramel Layer:

1/2 cup caramel sauce
1/2 cup milk or dark chocolate chips, melted

For Decoration:

Additional caramel and chocolate drizzle

Instructions

Prepare the Crust:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Combine the crushed Snickers, graham cracker crumbs, and melted butter until well mixed. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes, then let cool.

Make the Cheesecake Layer:

Beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract, sour cream, and peanut butter until the mixture is creamy and well combined.
Pour the cheesecake mixture over the cooled crust and smooth the top. Bake at 325°F (160°C) for about 50-55 minutes or until the center is just set. Allow to cool completely.

Add the Chocolate and Caramel Layer:

Spread a thin layer of caramel sauce over the cooled cheesecake.
Drizzle or spread melted chocolate over the caramel. Use a spatula to spread the chocolate layer for a clean finish.
Chill the cheesecake in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or overnight, until it’s completely set.
