What do you do with an over ripe banana?
Make chocolate chip banana cookies!
When I make cookies I’m not messing around. These cookies are soft, chewy and extremely delicious!!
INGREDIENTS:
1 ripe banana
1 stick of butter
2 ½ cups flour
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 package instant vanilla pudding mix
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup chocolate chips
METHOD:
With an electric mixer mix the butter and the brown sugar.
Add in the eggs one at a time into the mixer.
Add in the mashed banana.
Mix in the vanilla extract and vanilla instant pudding.
Add in the salt, baking powder and baking soda and mix.
Combine the flour a little at a time.
Once all the ingredients are mixed together, with a spatula add 1 cup of chocolate chips.
Scoop out 2 tablespoons of cookie dough and place each cookie ball 2 inches apart on a lined tray.
Bake cookies for 8 minutes at 350 degrees.
Once they cool down.
