Ingredients
Ripe bananas: 4, sliced into 1/2 inch pieces
Ground cinnamon: 1 tsp (5 ml)
Sugar: 1/4 cup (50 grams)
Unsalted butter: 3 tbsp (45 grams)
Honey or maple syrup: for drizzling
Powdered sugar: for dusting
Fresh mint leaves: for garnish
Directions
Prepare Bananas:
In a bowl, toss the banana slices with cinnamon and sugar until evenly coated.
Fry Bananas:
Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the coated bananas to the skillet in a single layer. Fry for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden and caramelized.
Serve:
Carefully remove the bananas from the skillet and arrange them on a serving plate.
Drizzle with honey or maple syrup and dust with powdered sugar.
Garnish with fresh mint leaves.
